Interim office facility for a global telecommunication company

As part of the major Transformation Program, QCIC provided security design services, including electronic access control, IP CCTV, intrusion detection and Video Intercoms.

QCIC developed the physical security systems designs utilising the QCIC suite of design tools. Once approved by the client, the QCIC team then developed the procurement packs and supported the client’s procurement team during the tender process, culminating in the appointment of a system integrator to execute the site installation activities.

The site installation activities were supported and overseen by a QCIC technical project manager.

In parallel to the site installation activities conducted by the System Integrator, the QCIC managed service team (application engineers) prepared and deployed the configuration to the clients enterprise physical security infrastructure and onboarded the site assets onto the client’s central enterprise infrastructure, including all commission activities.

The QCIC team also supported the client in the development of site-specific processes and procedures necessary to onboard the site from an operational perspective into the clients security operations.

As this was one of the first projects to be deployed as part of a larger program, The QCIC team developed a number of standard templates and methodology to ensure a consistent approach to the design and deployment of Physical Security across the program.
