Risk assessment of new offices for an international media company

We were appointed by a leading financial media agency to upgrade the security systems of their offices and data centres across the globe. This included the implementation of a uniform automated access control system across all their locations and additional security measures depending on the individual needs of each location.

As a global company, our client has offices in a diverse range of locations, including high-risk cities such as Caracas, Venezuela’s capital and one of the most dangerous cities in the world. As such, extra considerations needed to be made before the client could establish an office there. We were appointed to conduct a threat and risk assessment that would highlight the requirements needed to ensure the safety of our client’s staff.

It was necessary to consider a wide range of threats in our design recommendations. Our risk assessment substantiated threats, provided proportionate risk mitigation measures and allowed the client to make fully informed investment decisions in relation to the security measures.
