System administration for a global telecoms company

Our client, a global telecoms company, retained our services for support and technical assistance to both the end-users and operators of the access control and CCTV systems within the UK, as well as system integrators and other IT professionals globally to ensure that a high level of stability is sustained for the client.

Our system administration support team is instrumental in the planning and execution of all system upgrades or patches for our client; they also perform system checks when other maintenance tasks are completed on the client’s infrastructure and network.

These tasks include small installations, CCTV/access control, daily system health checks, liaising with internal IT teams to ensure the rollout of Windows patching.

QCIC continues to supply system administration support via our strategically positioned hubs. In addition, QCIC provides a remote support function outside of the core business house. Our client’s end-users, operators, integrators and IT professionals, therefore, have continuous access to dedicated QCIC technical experts.

Reporting is a critical part of our service, enabling our clients to have complete oversight of health, maintenance and support activities being conducted on their systems. By creating and maintaining these Business Administration reporting processes, we are able to advise on ways to improve how a client currently addresses security issues in order to enhance operational management.
